The owner of this cabin bag saw me admiring it and let me have a ride. Every regular traveler needs one of these electric gadgets.
We flew to Bristol where we collected our Skoda Fabia and set off to Cardiff in Wales for the night. The reason for going was to see the stage show "Warhorse" in the Cardiff Millennium Centre which was very close to our hotel. Tony and Jenny Walls had seen it in London and told us it was a must-see. It certainly was a very spectacular show and a very emotional ending. The puppetry with the mechanical horses was amazing. Neither of us have read the book or seen the film so it was all new to us.
The Millenium centre is a wonderful complex and a great asset to Cardiff.
Our St David hotel was on the waterfront and very well located.
The foyer of the hotel.
The view from our bedroom window.
Next day we drove back to England and down the M5 to Tiverton. From there we stayed in Braunton which was recommended by some people we met in a coffee shop but it turned out to be quite uninspiring.
Thefollowing day we drove through the middle of the Dartmoor National Park and got to see some of the famous Dartmoor ponies as well as some wandering sheep. We even had to squeeze past a scruffy cow which was standing in the middle of a one way bridge.
I don't know how they managed to lift these boulders before they had front end loaders.
